Architecture
The town manor was built as the home of the politician Benigno López. After 1875 it was first used as a hotel and from 1970 as the headquarters of a bank. In 2003, it became the property of the Paraguayan state and since 2005 has been home to the Paraguayan Foreign Ministry.
