Architecture

The Hall of Dispelling Clouds is located on the southern slope of Longevity Hill, along its central axis. Built between 1886-1892 on the site of the Great Hall of the Temple of Gratitude and Longevity, it was used exclusively for Empress Dowager Cixi's birthday celebrations.
